Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of genLO(the “Service”), a SaaS provided by genLO Pte Ltd (UEN pending registration), operated during the v0 / beta period by LOOP Marketing Group Pte Ltd, a Singapore company (collectively, “we”, “us”, or “genLO”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use genLO you must:

• be at least 18 years old;
• be operating, or representing, a legitimate business based in or serving Singapore (during the beta);
• be authorised to bind that business to these Terms if you’re signing up on its behalf.

3. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your password safe and for any activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access. We may, at our discretion, suspend or terminate accounts we believe were created with false information or are being used to violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload, generate, or share via the Service:

• NSFW, sexually explicit, or pornographic content of any kind;
• images of minors (anyone under 18) — uploads of such images are blocked at our automated safety check;
• images of public figures, celebrities, or any identifiable third party without their explicit consent;
• content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights;
• content that is defamatory, deceptive, harassing, threatening, or unlawful under Singapore law;
• content that violates the laws and regulations applicable to your industry — for example, financial advisory, healthcare, legal services, and other regulated industries each have their own marketing and disclosure rules. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with the rules that apply to your business.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or refuse service if we reasonably believe these rules are being broken.

5. Content ownership

Your inputs and outputs stay yours. You retain all rights to the images you upload and to the videos and captions we generate from them.

To deliver the Service, you grant genLO a limited, revocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, modify, and process your uploads and outputs solely for the purpose of running the Service for you — for example, to send your image to our animation provider, to display your generated video on your dashboard, and to keep backups for service reliability. This license ends when you delete the relevant project or your account.

We do not use your uploads or outputs to train AI models. We do not share them with anyone outside the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy.

6. Service availability

The Service is currently in beta (v0). That means:

• there is no service-level agreement (SLA) or uptime guarantee;
• features may change, be added, or be removed without notice;
• AI-generated outputs may contain errors, hallucinations, or quality issues — review them before posting;
• we may have planned downtime for maintenance and unplanned downtime due to upstream provider issues (Supabase, Anthropic, Replicate).

You agree to use the Service at your own risk during the beta and to review every output before publishing it anywhere.

7. Free tier and limits

New accounts receive 1 free videoat signup. We may, at our discretion, modify the free tier (grant amount, eligibility, rate limits, monthly resets) or discontinue it altogether at any time. We’ll give reasonable notice before reducing existing benefits.

Hard caps and abuse protections apply (max in-flight jobs, daily cost-control kill-switch). You agree not to circumvent rate limits, run multiple accounts to extend the free tier, or use the Service in an automated / scripted way without our written permission.

8. Payment (when available)

Paid plans (e.g. Pro at SGD 29 per month) will be announced when payment processing goes live. Billing will be handled by a third-party payment provider (planned: Stripe). When paid plans launch, separate billing terms will apply on top of these Terms. Until then, signing up costs nothing.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. On deletion we hard-delete user-owned data within 7 days (see the Privacy Policy for details).

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if your use creates legal or security risk for us, or if we discontinue the Service. Where reasonable we’ll give you notice and a chance to export your data.

10. Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement) to the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) SGD 100 for free-tier users.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we’ve been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
